Just put the finishing touches to my latest project, constructed solely from salvaged materials from previous jobs. The main body and legs are made from several off-cuts from a kitchen we fitted last year. I joined thin sections together with my biscuit joiner to provide deep enough sections to work with. The species is BETE a flamboyant exotic hardwood with an amazingly diverse colour range. The doors and back panel are oak veneered MDF off-cuts from another kitchen fit, the doors are edged in solid oak strips. Finished in Osmo oil.
